Welcome to the US JSPS Fellows Alumni Association!  Founded in 2004, by 30 JSPS fellows, our association is now made up of hundreds of current and past JSPS fellows based in the USA. These alumni produce a newsletter, take part in collaborative research, and hold scientific meetings and symposia, often in partnership with JSPS. To become a member, please click here.

NEW! Call for Volunteer for the Position of the Representative of Chemistry and Secretary of the Alumni Association

The US JSPS Fellows Alumni Association Executive Committee would like to make an open call to any volunteer who is interested in filling the position for the Representative of Chemistry and Secretary of the Alumni Association for 2016-2018.

Eligible candidates must:

  1. Have a Ph.D. degree and some postdoctoral experience.
  2. Be a regular Alumni Association member who has paid annual membership fees for at least two consecutive years.
  3. Have attended at least one General Assembly (GA) meeting.

Please send an email to gquil66@yahoo.com explaining your interest and motivation in serving the alumni as part of the Executive Committee. A brief 2-page CV should also be included in the email. Deadline is August 31, 2016. If you have any questions about the position, please do not hesitate to contact any members of the Executive Committee.
